Your trip to the tropical paradise that is Sabah isn’t complete without a little fun in the sun. Get some sand between those toes, salt in your hair, and soak in the tranquility of an endless stretch of turquoise waters in the Tunku Abdul Rahman Park Island.
- Rise and Shine, get an early start for a day of fun in the sun.
- You will be greeted at the lobby by our friendly guides and then whisked to the jetty where the adventure really begins.
- Upon arrival at the jetty, hop on for a short 20 minute boat ride headed to the first island-stop! Hold on to those sun-hats, its going to be a fun ride.
- Soak up on some vitamin D, go for a dip in the crystal clear waters, dig those toes deep in the warm sand and indulge in the tranquil vibes of it all.
- Jump back on a speedboat which will whisk you off into another island, where the fun & relaxation continues.
- Tropical bliss must’ve worked up an appetite. Enjoy a seafood BBQ by the pristine beach and after lunch, you are free to explore the island or continue your sea sports activity.
- As evening creeps in, prepare to pack up and standby by the island jetty for a return boat ride to Kota Kinabalu jetty and onward transfer to your hotel.

Tunku Abdul Rahman Islands

Tunku Abdul Rahman Park (TARP) consists of a cluster of islands comprising Pulau Gaya, Pulau Sapi, Pulau Manukan, Pulau Mamutik and Pulau Sulug. These five islands are considered to be a ‘barefoot paradise’ that tempts you with sunny simple pleasures, a coma of warm white sand and turquoise waters gently kissing the shores.
Go for a snorkel to spot some marine-life, or go parasailing, banana-boating, fly-fishing, and windsurfing. One can even go for a short forest walk for a more up close and personal experience with the natural wonders it boast.

Things You Should Know
- We will not know when is the jelly fish season as it varies. Usually it occurs during mid of the year or/and end of the year. Just be extra careful and inform our guides should you be bitten. Our guides are first aid trained.
- Jelly bugs are common in the waters but they are usually harmless and it will just cause some slight itch.
- Please do not bring valuables as there are no lockers on the islands.
- You are advised to bring enough cash for your sea sport activities. Pricing guidelines as displayed below.
- Do expect some crowd on the islands during weekends, public holidays and peak seasons, especially July and August.
- If you are really afraid of the sun, please bring along an umbrella and put on at least a SPF50 sunblock.
Friendly Note
- The two islands that you will be hopping to are Mamutik Island and Sapi Island. Occasionally, we may change one of the islands to Manukan. It depends on the crowd, water, jetty and or logistics situations, and this will be decided by our experienced operation team.
